Sell Your Hublot in London

We buy Hublot outright and take Hublot in part-exchange from our counter in Hatton Garden. Send the reference number from the caseback, the year and a few photographs and you will have a no-obligation figure back the same day; payment goes out by bank transfer once our specialist has authenticated the watch.

Hublot is the maker sellers are most often talked down on, because the trade prices it nervously and the pawn desks price it as scrap with a logo. Both are wrong. The spread between references is enormous — a steel Classic Fusion and a King Gold Big Bang are not the same conversation — and the limited editions have their own market that has nothing to do with Hublot’s general one. It is worth finding out which of those you are holding before you accept a figure.

What moves the number on a Hublot

The case material sets the floor

Hublot builds the same case in titanium, steel, ceramic, King Gold and Magic Gold, and the material is the single largest factor in the number. King Gold and Magic Gold carry real intrinsic metal value beneath the watch; ceramic and titanium do not. The reference on the caseback states which it is.

Movement: Unico versus base

An in-house Unico chronograph is a different watch commercially to a Big Bang running a modified base calibre, even where the two look similar across a counter. The caseback is usually open on the Unico, which is the quickest way to tell.

Limited editions and collaborations

The Ferrari, Berluti, football and artist collaborations trade on edition size, not on Hublot’s general market, and some are worth a substantial multiple of the standard reference they are based on. The edition number is engraved on the caseback — send it.

Straps, and how many of them

Hublot’s One-Click strap system means most watches were sold with more than one strap, and the spares are expensive to replace. A watch that still has its extra straps, the deployant and the tool is worth meaningfully more than the same watch on a single worn rubber.

Bezel screws and ceramic condition

The exposed H-screws on the bezel are part of the design and are the first thing to look worn or mismatched. Ceramic does not scratch but it does chip, and a chipped ceramic bezel is a real deduction because the part is not cheap.

Hublot references we buy

Not a complete list — we buy the whole catalogue. These are the ones the desk is asked about most.

Big Bang
The volume family and the widest spread on this list. 44mm, 41mm, Unico, Meca-10 and Tourbillon are separate markets, and the case material moves each of them again.
Classic Fusion
The dress line. Titanium and ceramic trade steadily; King Gold sits well above them. Size and whether it is a chronograph both matter.
Spirit of Big Bang
The barrel case. A narrower market than the Big Bang proper, priced reference by reference.
MP Collection
The Masterpiece pieces — MP-05, MP-09, MP-11 and the rest. Low production, valued individually. Send photographs and the box.
Big Bang Unico Ferrari and other collaborations
Priced on edition size and completeness rather than on the base reference. The caseback engraving is what identifies it.
King Power, Aerofusion, Spirit
All bought. All valued on material and movement — send the reference.

Box, papers and provenance

Hublot warranty cards carry the reference and serial, and Hublot operates a well-run authentication and service network, so a service record from an official centre genuinely helps. The travel case, the spare straps, the One-Click tool and the screwdriver are all part of a full set and all cost money to replace — keep them together. No card is not a problem; it moves the number, and we will tell you by how much before you commit to anything.

None of it is a condition of sale. A watch with no box and no card is still a straightforward sale, and we would rather tell you what the paperwork is worth than have you assume it is worth nothing — send the details and you will have both figures.

FAQS

Hatton Garden, and preferably at a desk that prices the reference rather than the metal. A pawnbroker will typically quote against the gold content or against a blanket assumption about the brand, which is how Hublot sellers end up underpaid. Bring it in or ship it insured and you are paid by transfer the same week, with no seller’s commission taken off the top.

Yes. A watch-only Hublot is a straightforward sale. The set matters more on Hublot than on most makers because of the spare straps and the travel case, so expect a wider gap between a full set and a bare watch than you would see on a steel sports Rolex. We will show you both figures.

Part-exchange is usually the better deal on a Hublot specifically. The outright cash market for the brand is cautious, but against a purchase we can make the margin on the piece you are buying rather than the piece you are leaving, so the number we can put against your Hublot goes up. If you were considering a pawn or a quick cash sale, ask about part-exchange first.

It depends on the case material, the movement and the edition before anything else — a titanium Big Bang and a King Gold Big Bang of the same size are far apart. The reference number on the caseback answers all three. Send it with a few photographs and you will have a real figure the same day.
